Teachers participate in a 2-day training where they learn to use iPad technology to shoot and edit their own videos. These tools prepare them to be able to use media as a teaching tool in their classrooms and to document issues of concern to the field. Through affiliation with TDP, teachers gain access to iPads, microphones, tripods and technical support.
Past projects include documentation of dynamic pedagogy, teacher perspectives on a policy issue and student generated video work. Videos are used to share social justices practices with other teachers and to raise awareness about pressing issues.
